Salicylic Acid is a common exfoliator ingredient usually used in concentrations of 0.5 % to 2% in making cosmetic skin care products like Cleanser, Moisturizer, Anti-Aging Serum, Acne Care, Body Wash & DIY skin care products. Salicylic ain Acid is a beta hydroxy acid found in many plants. In Cosmetics topical usages Salicylic acid is the ingredient in most products used to combat acne and other skin conditions such as dandruff. It a Keratolytic substance and acts as a comdeolytic and bacteriostatic agent meaning it stimulates the shedding off dead skin cells, removal of warts, calluses, blemishes, unclogs pores, and inhibits the growth of potentially acne-causing bacteria.

• Salicylic acid is a white colour powder and is a keratolytic agent, meaning it helps to break down and shed dead skin cells.
• Applications: Salicylic acid is used as an ingredient (usually 0.5 % to 2% only) in cosmetic products like Cleanser, Moisturizer, Anti-Aging Serum, Acne Care, Body Wash & other DIY Products. (Caution: Not to be used more than 2%, as it may cause skin irritation)
• Salicylic acid powder can be used as an exfoliant, helping to unclog pores and reduce blackheads.
